The White Maxi Dress, a Great Summer Must-Have

In the last few weeks I’ve let myself go a little bit on the shopping front, I admit, and I’ve splurged a little buying for example this long white maxi dress. The fact is that I really didn’t have anything to suit the very hot climate of these days, with really incredible temperatures for this area.

This has induced me not only to do some spontaneous shopping, as I had not done for a long time. As I explained in my video HERE  (it’s only in Italian, sorry!) for years now I’ve been a really careful buyer and, before I buy something new, I usually consider it carefully).

Anyway, as I said, I got out of the sowing a little bit not only in terms of spontaneity of my purchases, but also in terms of style, turning a little from my usual minimal chic outfits to a more boho-chic genre. In summer, in fact, my tastes change a bit and I like to combine my usual basic garments with different pieces and styles, like this white maxi dress with it’s fluttering line, for example.

I especially like the asymmetrical cut of this dress, the straight and simple neckline and the frill on the front. For this reasons, I kept everything else simple and neutral, but I plan to match my new white maxi dress also with more colorful pieces, for example with large turquoise earrings I always love to wear in summer. Or with a nice straw bag, maybe.
