After the huge response to my first Zara selection video, I decided to dedicate an entire post to ten pieces — clothes and accessories — that I genuinely think are worth buying from the new collection. All of them are accessibly priced, well made for the category, and the kind of thing that integrates naturally into any wardrobe without making you wish you had spent more. And some of them, if well cared for, will last far longer than you might expect from a high street piece.
Here are my ten picks.
1. Short Lace Blazer
I own a white lace shirt from the Californian brand La Jones that many of you have admired and asked me about — unfortunately it is quite expensive. When I spotted this lace blazer at Zara, it immediately reminded me of that shirt, but in a more accessible and actually more versatile version.
The length is particularly good — it falls just below the waist, which works for all heights rather than only on tall women. You can wear it open over a small white top or camisole, or closed for a cleaner look. A genuinely beautiful piece for spring and into summer.
2. Suede Leather Slingbacks
These caught my eye immediately — real suede leather, in a warm shade of brown that works beautifully with the neutral summer palette: white, écru, light grey (very much on trend this year), camel, khaki. The heel is wide and comfortable — I would happily wear these on cobblestones.
I am also someone who genuinely loves suede into summer. It is not a cold-weather-only material — I think it actually looks better with a lightly tanned leg, and the texture feels right for the season. Highly recommended.
3. Straight-Leg Mid-Rise Jeans
I tried these on in store. Mid-rise, not too high — straight leg with a very slight flare, which avoids adding volume while still being completely current. I hear occasionally that this silhouette shortens the leg visually. It does the opposite: the straight cut without volume on the hips actually lengthens the silhouette. The cut around the waist, hips and thighs is very well done.
If you do not yet have this particular style of jeans — the classic of the last few years — this is a beautiful starting point.
4. Red Blazer
I checked this one in person at the Zara in Milan. The shade of red is genuinely beautiful — and the fit is excellent. If there is one thing Zara consistently does well even at this price point, it is blazers. I have several Zara blazers that have been with me for years, so the “high street doesn’t last” argument does not hold here.
Red is not a neutral, but among bolder colours it is a true classic — and most of us already have pieces to wear with it. It works beautifully with white, beige, écru, and all the typical summer neutrals. Easy to wear, very fresh.
5. Slightly Oversized 100% Cotton Poplin Shirt

An essential for any wardrobe, and this one is done well. 100% cotton poplin — the weave that keeps fabric particularly fresh and airy even in full summer heat. The slightly oversized fit is what makes the look modern rather than stiff or dated.
The price is low, but the quality is there. A piece like this belongs in any capsule wardrobe, and works with practically every personal style.
6. White (and Écru) Perfect Spring Jeans
I am ordering these for myself — not in white, because I already have white jeans, but in écru, which moves slightly toward cream and beige. The cigarette silhouette is not too fitted, not too wide, and it is a timeless shape.
They come in white, écru, and the usual denim washes. If the model works for you, I would actually encourage you to buy two — for trousers and jeans, when you find something that genuinely flatters you, it is worth repeating. Something I rarely say, but for well-cut trousers I absolutely mean it.
7. Midi Linen Dress with Belt
This is for those of us who prefer dresses — though I think it works for everyone. It is not the usual straight-falling shirt dress that risks looking shapeless. This one creates a feminine line, is genuinely current and elegant, and you can start wearing it now and carry it through full summer while staying completely cool.
The linen fabric makes it ideal for the spring-to-summer transition. Pair it with flat sandals and a raffia or leather bag and you are effortlessly elegant even at 35 degrees.
8. Striped Short-Sleeve Polo in Viscose Knit

Spring and summer always call for a stripe, and this year is also the year of the polo — so when I found this knitted viscose polo with a classic stripe, it immediately went on my list. The knit fabrication makes it noticeably more refined than a jersey polo. The collar in particular is well designed — it lengthens the neck rather than shortening it, which is not always the case.
A small, inexpensive addition that opens up a lot of possibilities.
9. Maxi Suede Leather Bag
I recently made a video on mid-range bags and a few of you pointed out that even those were beyond your budget. This bag is real suede leather at a very accessible price.
It is oversized — perfect for summer, travel, flights, holidays. It has that relaxed, fluid silhouette that works with everything, and the kind of piece that only improves with age and use. If you want real leather without the investment price, this is genuinely worth considering.

This is the one for more formal occasions, ceremonies, or for anyone who prefers not to show too much skin. The satin viscose, the long sleeve, the asymmetric diagonal cut — it has a Giorgio Armani quality to the line. Truly elegant, fluid, elongating.
Style it with a beautiful necklace and an elegant clutch and you have a complete look for almost any formal occasion. I find it very beautiful.
