Nordgreen Watches Review: Affordable Scandinavian Luxury

In today’s post I would like to offer you a brief review of Nordgreen watches, which I recently discovered thanks to a collaboration with this awesome Scandinavian brand.

Nordgreen, in fact, produces magnificent and luxurious men’s and women’s watches of minimalist design with a clear Danish imprint. And I have always loved the Scandi Chic style!

As I explained recently in a video, in fact, for some time I was looking for a more minimal and casual watch. In short, a somehow minimalist piece, but with a stylish and contemporary design, to wear as an alternative to the watch that I currently use.

I really missed a piece like this, in particular, during travels and vacations, but also to be combined with some of my everyday outfits.

I have long admired, among other things, the design of Nordgreen watches in several fashionable women’s outfits on Pinterest and Instagram, although I didn’t yet know the brand yet.

So, with this collaboration one of my fashion wishes comes true – and my new Native watch by Nordgreen really fills a gap in my accessories collection!

Nordgreen watches: a short history of the brand

The history of the Danish watch brand begins in 2017, with Nordgreen’s partners, Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt, who build a brand based on sustainable production practices, while creating an aesthetically pleasing and functional collection of designer watches – with a typical Scandinavian imprint that I love so much in fashion and accessories.

The Nordgreen watch collection is based on the genius of designer Jakob Wagner, who became famous designing for brands such as Bang & Olufsen, B&B Italia and Cappellini.

Another interesting fact: Nordgreen supports – as part of the Giving Back programme – several environmental and humanitarian projects. Nordgreen watches are not only beautiful and luxurious in their minimalist design, but also sustain several good causes.

So today I would like to present you a brief Nordgreen watches review, in particular of the Native watch by Nordgreen with its white dial and black leather strap.

NORDGREEN WATCHES REVIEW: THE NATIVE

In fact, it was not easy to choose only one item: there are so many different watches and possible combinations on Nordgreen’s website! But after a while, I found my absolute favorite: the Native with white dial and black leather strap. Not surprisingly, it is also one of the company’s bestsellers.

But if, like me, you find it difficult to choose just one, you can simply take one of the bundles with multiple straps and transform your watch in a few moments whenever you wish.

With the Native watch, in particular, I was immediately impressed by the clean and linear design, the elegant simplicity of the sleek dial and the beauty of the strap’s leather.

The metal parts are shiny and add a bright touch to this watch.

If you look at the box, the Nordgreen Native watch reveals its Nordic soul. The design is essential and the case is elegantly upholstered in gray felt that gives it a refined, modern touch.

THE NORDGREEN NATIVE WATCH SUITS EVERY STYLE

But it is wearing it that the Native watch reveals its elegant aesthetic particularities. The minimal and clean design allows you to combine the watch with any style, from the most minimal chic to the most eclectic.

The large white dial adds a bright touch to any outfit. I chose the 40mm version because I have a slim wrist and I prefer large and slightly masculine watches that create a nice contrast.

The smooth black leather strap also ensures maximum comfort for the wearer, as well as creating a beautiful contrast with the light-colored dial.

All in all, the watch is extremely lightweight, which makes it very comfortable to wear all day long.

It easily matches other jewelry and and costume jewelry pieces, both minimalist like the watch ore more whimsical.

THE NATIVE WATCH BY NORDGREEN, A MINIMAL CHIC WATCH WITH A NORDIC SOUL

I particularly like my Native watch worn on total black outfits or on looks based on neutral colors. But sometimes I also love to wear it with bright floral patterns, for example. It’s really difficult, in any case, to find an outfit that does NOT match perfectly with this watch!

But the choice of models and options is really wide. Among the most beautiful models in my opinion, you will also find the Pioneer men’s watch, which has even won awards for its gorgeous design.
